Brian Haymon is the Founder and CEO of Loadstar Product Handling Services, LLC. Loadstar services the refining, chemical, and marine industries, providing highly trained personnel to load and unload hazardous materials from railcars, trucks, and barges; switch railcars inside industrial facilities; and operate customer-owned assets such as marine docks, warehouses, and tank farms.

 

Prior to launching Loadstar in 2021, Brian spent 27 years as an owner and later CEO of PSC (now PSC Group).  As CEO, Brian led the company to record growth and performance, with 3000 employees at more than 100 sites throughout North America. 

 

Brian grew up in Baton Rouge and attended public schools. He received a BA in English and History from the University of Texas at Austin, and a law degree from LSU. He spent several years in private practice in California before returning to Louisiana in 1990 to work in the petrochemical industry.

 

Brian is the current Chair of the LSU Honors College Advisory Council, a group he founded in 1999. He is a founding member of New Schools for Baton Rouge and currently serves on its board. Brian is a past chair of the Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge, and a past board member of the Baton Rouge Area Chamber, the East Baton Rouge Parish Economic Development Authority, and the Capitol Area United Way. He currently serves on the board of the Louisiana Chemical Association’s political action committee (LAMP).

 

Brian spends time outdoors hunting, fishing, hiking, and playing golf. He is an avid LSU fan. Brian enjoys singing with the Baton Rouge Symphony Chorus, playing guitar, cooking, and travel. He and his wife, Barbara, have two grown children.
